Hinduism does not have a single scripture as the basis of its doctrine. It supports different thinking and comfortable with evolutionary thinking. Hinduism may look like a mass of apparent contradictions, which becomes clear when explained.

Hinduism emphasizes spiritual evolution, assuming the basic goodness and unlimited potential of human nature(human's essential divinity). Hindu philosophers emphasize the relativity of all truth claims, they are able to tolerate many seemingly contradictory religious beliefs.

The asthikas (believers) and the nasthikas (non-believers) at the end come to same conclusions about the Absolute Truth, that our understanding about Absolute Truth is incomplete and imperfect.

One (Truth) manifests itself into many (truths) at the time of creation and that the many (truths) slowly in the end resolve themselves into One Truth again!
