Who are we?

God is in you is real you. Stop searching outside. Realize the Super Consciousness in you. See Supreme Being in you and all around you.

Live in the present because that is what all is there.

We are:
  1. a Soul which is Consciousness or life force,
  2. a Body which is substance, and
  3. Rhythms which are waves/energy.
Or Body-Mind-Spirit exist in Three planes:
  1. Astral/Spiritual - Soul/Spirit
  2. Mental or Mind;
  3. Physical; Body;.
Every thing is like a ray of light (or a wave pattern) from the universal source Narayanam. Originating from source, returns to the source.

ஆசாரமும் இல்லை, தவமும் இல்லை
சிதானந்த ரூபம் சிவம் நான் சிவம் நான்”!
I am not any belief system. I do not need any scriptures, rituals or practices. I am the Supreme being.
You don’t need to run away from daily life to realize god. That Supreme Being is in you. Do your duties. Control ego and anger. Finally, the most important part is to realize that you are part of this Nature and not above it – Everything in this universe is nothing but – the Supreme being.
It is the energy which is the only thing that exists. I, Me, Myself, and thoughts of separation from the supreme is only illusion due to the duality. We are distorted images of God in the mirror

Atman and Kosha

A Kosha (कोश), means or a covering of the Atman, or Self. There are five Koshas, which are often visualised as the layers of an onion. Human beings consist of a material body or Annamaya-kosha built from the food they eat. Inside this is another body made of life energy or prana or Pranamaya-kosha. Within the vital force is mental body or Manomaya-kosha. Deeper still lies another body comprised of intellect or Vidnyanamaya-kosha. Hidden inside is last body Anandamaya-kosha, experienced as happiness, delight, and bliss. These five layers or bodies are called koshas.

After death, a Jiva’s Annamaya-kosha and Pranamaya-kosha do not remain, but Manomaya-kosha, Vidnyanamaya-kosha and Anandamaya-kosha remain with self.

I am the Atma, the consciousness, an independent principle totally different from the body. It is not visible, but known, because it activates, the body. Atma is not an object to be looked for. As it is never a knowable object, it does not come under: (i) Known object or (ii) an unknown object. Atma is behind all senses/organs and experiencing the entire world. We can only say “I am Atma.”

Astrological Interpretations

Creation and life events are based on astronomical patterns during birth. We are body (matter) - Energy (force or power) - Thoughts (mind, intellect..). Lagna, sun and moon positions during birth determine above three aspects.

Consciousness

Consciousness is the entire reality. Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies. We are all the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence. All of “us” are the universe.
An individualised consciousness is another way of explaining what is that 'life force' or soul or atma.
Consciousness is like an elementary particle or wave. An elementary particle, like an electron can be everywhere at the same time.
Tthe nature of consciousness is like film made up of separate pictures that last only a fraction of a second. Consciousness is like that, it just lasts one millisecond. Then, because moments of consciousness succeed each other continuously, we have the impression that consciousness is something that lasts. Consciousness is only a flash.
The world is an object of mind. The sun, the moon, the earth, the cosmos, the galaxies – they are all objects of mind. And our body, also, is an object of our mind. And our mind, also, is an object of our mind.

What is death

We already know what happens at death. We lose consciousness, our brains die and can't be restarted and it's over. From science perspective, death is opposite of birth or absence of life (like darkness).

Humans die because their only purpose in life is to pass on their genes and give way to next generations.

From an engineering perspective, humans die because their bodies are complex systems and the accumulation of damage and malfunctions is "aging". Humans live to learn and experience life. It's just that some of us don't want to believe this is true.

Living beings reproduce or convert energy from food. We are alive, but our heart or some organs clearly is not. So the alive one is made up of dead "things". A bacterium, smaller than even a single cell in our body is alive. Bacterium too is made of dead stuff. So maybe life is just a pattern or net work of specific combinations of dead things.

People claim dead people are still alive in the spirit realm to make us feel better. Some medium say they can receive messages from dead. No one can prove that there is no afterlife. But there is lots of evidence of people fooling themselves and others with fakery.

Near Death Experiences happen in a living brain that is shutting down not something that happens after the brain has ceased to function.

Reincarnation is belief in life after death. There is a circle of Karma that leads to birth, death and rebirth again. This is a continuous cycle, because when one dies only the body perishes but not the soul. The soul leaves the body, and moves onto another. It is just a belief, which can not be proved or disproved.

Unity of all existence

The first concept of Vedanta is the concept of unity of all existence, what is known as a Brahman. It is this magnificent universe — the billions and billions of galaxies that surround us — and not the tiny speck of dust that we call planet Earth. The universe is Anadi Anant, without beginning and without end.

The atman is the spark of that divine within each one of us. We say this is our clan, this is our people but every individual, everywhere, has a spark of the divine, the aatma. So, we have the all-pervasive Brahman. And joining these two is the real goal of life. The process of joining these two is known as the yoga.
